Philippines: Facebook Country (not Friendster Country anymore)

Saw a stat from Yugatech.Com on how Philippines faired in the most number of people logging in to Facebook (FB) compared to other countries all over the world. If we recall, last 2008, we were coined as the Friendster Country as we have the most number of accounts and the most number of people logging in worldwide. But it seems that we are now fast becoming the top contender in the title "Facebook Country". For now, US still holds the FB title.

In this report you'd see that 20% of our population is checking FB (or over 20 million Filipinos) last 2010 and that 94% never failed to login in a month! Before, I used to type "yahoo.com" or "google.com" when I access the net. But now, the tick box "remember my password" is always checked so that I click the FB tab, I'm online in 6 seconds! This goes to show that FB is indeed habit forming.
